When asked about the movie "Gulabo-Sitabo", the director of the movie, Sirca, shared the news that the idea of releasing the movie on the OTT platform Amazon Prime Video was given to him by the Producer of the movie, Mr. Ronnie Lahiri. They discussed the pros and cons of releasing on n OTT platform. As Sircar wanted to reach as much audience as possible, nothing could be better than the OTT platform, as it could be released on the platform in 200 countries simultaneously. Sircar also added that previously he had never had such experience of releasing any movie on a platform like this, but due to this COVID-19 situation, this would be the best they can do as there is nobody who can say exactly when the cinemas will open. So in this digital era, this is the future itself.

In this movie, Amitabh Bachchan (Gulabo) and Ayushmann Khurrana (Sitabo). Its music is done by Shantanu Moitra.
