Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max may have Wi-Fi 7 connectivity technology

Apple is all set to launch the Vision Pro mixed reality headset next month, but the most highlighting thing is the launch of the iPhone, which is set to make its entry later this year. The upcoming iPhone 16 has had many rumours for a long time about the new larger screens, enhanced cameras, AI features, and a dedicated video button. And now, we have got the latest leak about the iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus which suggests to us that this new iPhone of 2024 will have higher RAM and faster Wi-Fi connectivity.

The website 9To5Mac reports the details of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus which will have Apple’s super-efficient 3nm A18 chipset for best performance. The Pro models in the lineup will run on the A18 Pro processor.

iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus are also getting a RAM upgrade this year. Bot the phone gets 8GB of RAM which is higher compared to the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus 6GB of RAM. Additionally, rumors suggest the two normal non-pro models will powered by a Qualcomm X70 modem, while the iPhone 16 Pro models will get the Qualcomm X75 modem. This means that the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could offer faster 5G speeds than the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus.

The iPhone 16 and 16 Plus models will carry Wi-Fi 6E support, bringing fast Wi-Fi connection speeds. Whereas the iPhone 16 Pro models could support recently launched Wi-Fi 7 technology.

The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro may have an upgraded ultra-wide camera, with a bump in resolution from 12-megapixel to 48-megapixel as we are expecting. Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had also said that the iPhone 16 Pro would get a tetraprism telephoto lens which brings the phone’s optical zoom.

Barclays anticipated earlier this month that demand for the iPhone 16 might not set the demand charts on fire. They downgraded Apple's stock, and over $100 billion vanished from Apple's market value.

But you know Apple, They're not one to back down from a challenge. The iPhone 16 is gearing up to build hype around the iPhone 16 series. This time iPhone 16 Pro may feature a 6.27-inch display, on the other hand, the iPhone 16 Pro Max, is going to feature a 6.85-inch display panel.
For reference, that's a size upgrade from the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. It's like Apple decided, "Bigger is better".
