Lava Yuva Pro with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor in the budget segment

The only Made In India smartphone company Lava has now launched its new smartphone named Lava Yuva Pro in India. The company has given a good design aspect with a triple rear camera setup and a selfie camera in a waterdrop style notch. The notch looks very small compared to the other water-drop style smartphone that was launched in the past. At first look, the phone does not look like a budget segment smartphone like the other smartphone looks in this segment.

Lava Yuva Pro price in India and variant options

The company is launching only one variant of Lava Yuva Pro 3GB RAM + 32GB storage at Rs 7,799 in India.
The phone is available in three colour option Metallic Black, Metallic Blue, and Metallic Grey. The expected customers can buy it from the Lava e-store in India.

Lava Yuva Pro specification and features

The latest Lava smartphone comes with a dual-SIM (Nano) SIM slot that runs on the latest Android 12 OS. Talking about the display in the phone features a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS display. The display has 720x1,600 pixels of resolution that has a 20:9 aspect ratio with 269ppi of pixel density. The company has protected the display with corning gorilla glass. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio SoC chipset processor.

Talking about the triple rear camera model all the camera comes with a 13-megapixel lens. The camera in Lava Yuva Pro has some preloaded modes and filters like HDR, GIF, portrait, beauty, night, and time-lapse photography, etc. It also carries an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor in a water-drop style notch. Users can expand their storage up to 512GB via an external microSD card.

The connectivity options include 4G, Bluetooth v5, FM radio, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, a 3.5mm headphone jack, GPRS, OTG, a USB Type-C port, and no 5G connectivity option. For the security side, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor with the support of a face unlock. The company packs a massive 5,000mAh battery with 10W fast charging support. The company claims 37 hours of talk time and 320 hours on standby mode on a single charge. The Lava has done a great job in designing this new Lava Yuva Pro smartphone, the phone just gets 191 grams and measures 164.4x75.8x8.9mm in dimension.
