Google Pixel 5 is going to launch only in one variant named XL

New Google Pixel 5 is going to launch only in one variant named XL, and we will not get the low-budget variant of this smartphone. On the upcoming generation of Pixel phones, an online leaked report has said. As we saw on Twitter, this phone will be launched with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor, and it's priced located at $699 (roughly Rs. 52,200). This news arrives a few days back the Google Pixel 5 has spotted on a benchmark website with the mid-tier SoC.

According to a tweet on Twitter by a user @ImjustSayingJC, first spotted by a very known smartphone website GSMArena, this Google Pixel 5 is expected to come in only one variant option which is XL variant with a processor of Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC, and it will be priced about $699, this price is $100 less than the starting price of last year's Google Pixel devices. The company recently declared that they are going to launch the Pixel 5 as its flagship offering smartphone of this year 2020, the smartphone is expected to come on sale in October with pre-orders starting from October 8th, 2020.

This smartphone from Google recently spotted on the AI-Benchmark website. Which showed that the AI-benchmark score for the Pixel 4, Pixel 4 XL, and Pixel 5 are 39.6, 39.5, and 39.4 individually. Now we have to see that what's interesting in the fourth generation of Pixel smartphones are powered by the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC, while the upcoming phone is openly reported to highlight a mid-range processor from Qualcomm.

This benchmarking website also showed a phone named "Google Pixel 5" which is running on Android 11 and having an 8GB of RAM. This smartphone is rumored to have a 6.67-inch OLED panel from BOE or Samsung, and we expect that it will have a 120Hz refresh rate display. Google may re-introduce the fingerprint sensor and do away with the face unlock devices of the Pixel 4 series of smartphones.

Recently, Google launches the Google Pixel 4a with a hole-punch display, with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC that is paired with a 6GB of RAM. The phone comes with a Titan M security module, 128GB of storage, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a rear fingerprint sensor. The Pixel 4a and Pixel 5 can come on sale together in October in India.
