OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 12 may launch next year in January 2024

OnePlus 12 is about to launch soon with its sibling OnePlus 12R on January 23 in India. The company will launch its new upcoming OnePlus 12 series smartphone globally. The expected date is been leaked about the global launch but the company has not officially disclosed the date. Mark January 23, 7:30 PM IST, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi for the event from OnePlus. OnePlus is even handing out golden tickets for the community – just in case you want a front-row seat. There's a 50% discount waiting for you at the ticket counter.

The OnePlus 12 series smartphone is already available in Chinese markets. This upcoming year can give the power to performance, multiple tasks at the same time with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC chipset. It gets a 5,400mAh battery pack with a 100W wired SuperVOOC charging technology.

Now, the OnePlus 12R is arriving in this 12th series. These 12R models will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC chipset.

We do have not much information about both devices, other information will be released from the company officials on the launch date.

The OnePlus 12 already launched in China with a quad-HD+ LTPO OLED screen where the display has more pixels than the previous generation. It runs on Android 14 with ColorOS 14 skin on top. For high performance, it gets a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset coupled with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of UFS 4 internal storage.

The company will provide a Hasselblad triple rear camera setup where a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 64-megapixel telephoto sensor, and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera sensor. For selfies, a 32-megapixel front camera is equipped.

According to the Chinese version, the OnePlus 12 packs a 5,400mAh battery pack with 100W SuperVOOC charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging technology.

Whereas the OnePlus 12R may feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display and a triple camera rear camera setup. It may powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC chipset.
