Oppo Reno 7 5G, Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G with 180Hz touch sampling rate

A new smartphone is launched by Oppo in their Reno series Oppo Reno 7 5G and Reno 7 Pro 5G in India. We have seen both models in China last November 2021. As the footprints of the company this Reno 7 series is also fastly launched in China as the other two Reno lineups. Before the Oppo Reno 7, the company has launched Reno 6, Reno 5, and Reno 5F in a few years in different countries. These models are slightly different from the Chinese variant on Reno 7 series with some mina twice.
At the price of around 30000 the Oppo Reno 7 5G, will have very tough competition with other brands lineups like OnePlus Nord 2 and Realme GT Master Edition. And the companies other variants Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G will compete with Samsung 20 FE 5G, Mi 11i HyperCharge, and Realme GT.

Oppo Reno 7 5G, Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G price in India and variant options

The company has priced Oppo Reno 7 5G at Rs. 28,999 for 8GB RAM + 256GB variant in Inida. The Oppo Reno 7 5G is available only in single variant options. The expected customers can buy Oppo Reno 7 5G from February 17. The Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G is available at Rs. 39,999 for 12GB + 256GB single variant option. The expected customers can buy it from February 8, 2022.
Both the models are available in two color options Starlight Black and Startrails Blue.

Oppo Reno 7 5G specification and features

Oppo Reno 7 5G is available in dual-SIM (Nano) that runs on Android 11 with ColorOS 12 skin on top. It features a 6.4-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display has 1,080x2,400 pixels of resolution with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Oppo Reno 7 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC chipset. The phone comes with a triple rear camera setup where the primary camera is 64-megapixel, the secondary wide-angle shooter camera is 8-megapixel and the last is a 2-megapixel macro shooter sensor. It has a 32-megapixel selfie, video conferencing camera in the front.
In connectivity option Oppo Reno 7 5G has the latest 5G connectivity, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, USB Type-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It also includes the sensors like an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, proximity sensor, pedometer, and in-display fingerprint sensor for unlocking the phone.
It carries a massive 4,500mAh dual-cell battery with 65W SuperVOOC fast charging technology support. The Oppo Reno 7 5G is quite lightweight at 173g and 160.6x73.2x7.8mm in dimensions.

Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G is also available in dual-SIM (Nano) option that runs on the latest Android 11 with ColorOS 12 skin on top. It also features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate, 180Hz touch sampling rate by 1,080x2,400 pixels of resolution. The display is protected with Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Max SoC chipset. The Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup where the primary camera is a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.8 lens, the second ultra-wide camera is of 8-megapixel with an f/2.2 lens, and the last 2-megapixel camera sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. The Oppo Reno 7 has a dedicated colour temperature sensor setup. It uses OPPO’s proprietary Quadra Binning Algorithm with a new generation RGBW sensor IMX709 that receives 60 percent more light and reduces 35 percent more noise compared to the standard RGGB sensor.
It also has a 32-megapixel Sony IMX709 camera front sensor for video conferencing and selfies.

Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G also carries a 4,500mAh dual-cell battery with 65W SuperVOOC fast charging technology support. The phone weighs 180 g that is slightly heavy compared to Oppo Reno 7 5G, it has 158.2x73.2x7.5mm in dimensions.

Both the phone has almost the same feature and specifications s except the camera sensors.
