Poco X6 Neo 5G with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz touch sampling rate display

Xiaomi has now launched its new Poco X6 Neo 5G smartphone in India. This smartphone comes in the new Poco X series phones that come with a 120Hz refresh rate display. The coampany has provided a MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC chipset which is coupled with two RAM and storage options. A few days back we got the leaks that the company is rebranding the old Redmi Note 13R Pro smartphone that where launched in China to Poco X6 Neo 5G and launched the same device. The models come with decent features, but the Poco series is quite popular in India it will show some domination via its branding. This time Xiaomi has reduced the price of this model compared to when the company launched the same phone with a different name in China.

Poco X6 Neo 5G price in India and variant options

The company has set the starting price of Poco X6 Neo at Rs. 15,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant options. Whereas the top-end variant is priced at Rs. 17,999 with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage. The coampany has listed this smartphone of Flipkart in Astral Black, Horizon Blue, and Martian Orange colour options.

Flipkart is giving a Rs. 1,000 discount on purchases made using ICICI bank cards or EMI transactions. An additional Rs. 1,000 discount on the exchange offer.

Poco X6 Neo 5G specification and features

The Poco X6 Neo 5G carries a dual SIM (Nano) slot, and the device runs on the latest Android 13 operating system with MIUI 14 skin on top. Poco claims to provide two major Android updates and four years of security updates on this phone. The Poco X6 Neo 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate display, a 2160Hz touch sampling rate, and 1920Hz pulse width modulation (PWM) dimming. The display has 1,080x2,400 pixels of resolution, the phone covers 93.30 percent screen-to-body ratio, and up to 1,000 nits of peak brightness. The screen is rated to deliver 100 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 colour gamut. Also, the display is protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. This smartphone comes with an IP54 rating for dust and splash resistance.

It is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC chipset processor with Mali G57 MC2 GPU. The RAM can be extended up to 24GB via a virtual RAM expansion feature.
The device carries a graphite sheet for thermal management which is helpful in high-performance tasks like gaming for a long duration on the highest settings.

The phone carries a dual rear camera where a 108-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HM6 primary sensor with 3x sensor zoom is placed and a 2-megapixel shooter camera lens. For selfie and video conferencing, it features a 16-megapixel front camera.

The company has placed a single speaker inside the phone which satisfies sound quality with Dolby Atmos support.

Talking about the connectivity options includes 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS/AGPS, Glonass, Galileo, NFC, a USB Type-C port for charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

It also includes all the important sensors like accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, gyroscope, IR blaster, and proximity sensor. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is placed including the AI-backed face unlock feature for authentication which enhances the phone's security.

This all-new Poco X6 Neo 5G carries a 5,000mAh battery pack with 33W fast charging support. The phone comes with the same design as the Redmi Note 13R Pro, it measures 161.11x74.95x7.69mm and weighs 175 grams which is decent in weight compared to other devices that are available at approximately the same price.
