Updated: May 15, 2025 11:53

The Chinese company Xiaomi is coming with a new smartphone named Xiaomi Mi 11. The live images of this new phone have been leaked just a day before its official launch by the company. These images give a clear indication of the design and specifications of this upcoming phone by Xiaomi. We have also seen some photos of this phone which suggest to us that this phone comes in four colour options. The launched date of the Xiaomi Mi 11 is set for Monday, December 28. Although this smartphone will only be launched in China, we expect that this phone will come on sale in global markets also including India, someday next year in 2021.
The live images of the Xiaomi Mi 11 have been leaked on Weibo a China video streaming site. An image shows the phone screen that hints at some important specifications of this upcoming phone. It shows that Android 11 is available on this phone with the November security patch, along with MIUI 12 skin on top. This new phone also seems to have 12GB of RAM. And in the further images, we have seen that this phone has Qualcomm's flagship chipset Snapdragon 888 SoC which is clocked at 2.84GHz.

The leaked images recommend that the Mi 11 will feature a thin bezel and a curved display design as also recently seen by leaked images of a screen protector supposed to be of the new Xiaomi Mi 11. The company Xiaomi has already revealed an advanced display technology by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection on the new Mi-series smartphone. Also, all the flagship smartphones by the company could include a QHD+ resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate display.

One more image shows the back panel of the Mi 11 that looks to have a matte finish. This could be due to the leather material. This picture also gives the rear camera setup look that seems to have a triple camera setup along with a LED flash module.

When we slightly zoom into the photo we saw a 108-megapixel primary camera written on the camera module. This Mi 10 and the Mi 10T series already have an equal camera resolution, though Xiaomi is teasing a “computational photography” technology that can bring some improvements to the new Mi 11 series phones.

After the camera details, Xiaomi has posted another teaser on Weibo that verifies LPDDR5 RAM on Xiaomi Mi 11 along with speeds up to 6.4Gbps. The company used the same RAM on the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro as well that we have seen in early on the year. Still, the pairing of the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC this time is likely to bring some more exciting improvements beyond the earlier models of Mi 10.
