Xiaomi Smart Band 8, Watch 2 Pro with pre-loaded 150 sports modes

Xiaomi has introduced its new Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro in the global market with its Xiaomi Smart Band 8 at an event held in Berlin. The Smart Band 8 was initially launched in China in April this year. Now these smart wearables can be purchased in Europe.

The company has introduced this Watch 2 Pro with two connectivity options e-SIM and Bluetooth variant. The Watch 2 Pro comes in a premium category option under 30k in India. The watch carries a leather strap which enhances the overall look of this smartwatch.

Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro, Xiaomi Smart Band 8 price in India and Colour option

The company set its price for the Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro Bluetooth variant at EUR 269 (approximately Rs. 23,700 in India), and the e-SIM variant is priced at EUR 329 (approximately Rs. 28,300). Both variants are available in the same two colour options Black Case with Black Fluororubber Strap and Silver Case with Brown Leather Strap.

Taking the price of the Xiaomi Smart Band 8 in Europe at EUR 39.9 (approximately Rs. 3,500), it is available in two colour options Black and White. Both smart wearables can be purchased via Xiaomi's official Europe website.

Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro specifications and features

With its 1.43-inch AMOLED display with 466 x 466 pixels of resolution, it's a perfect solution for eye comfort. It has a peak brightness of 600 nits you even feel no difficulty in the brightest days. This smartwatch is powered by a 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon W5+ Gen 1 chipset including 2GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage, which can easily provide a smooth operation.

Xiaomi Watch 2 Pro runs on WearOS by Google. It comes with pre-loaded 150 sports modes that enable you to track every single activity like running, walking, cycling, swimming, etc. It included sensors like a heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, barometer, and a bioelectrical impedance analysis sensor.

The company has provided a 5ATM water resistance rating which ensures a splash, swim, or even a deep-sea adventure. It has a 495mAh battery, which provides 55 hours on the LTE version and an amazing 65 hours on the Bluetooth variant.
Both variants have the same design aspects carry 54.5 grams of weight and it measure 47.6mm x 45.9mm x 11.8mm in dimensions.

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 specifications and features

Xiaomi Smart Band 8 runs on Android 6.0 or iOS 12.0 and above devices, it features a 1.62-inch AMOLED display with a 192 x 490 pixel resolution including 326ppi of pixel density and 600 nits brightness.

The company has provided a training mode and a smart health assistant which plays like an ultimate fitness guru. It can also monitor your SpO2, heart rate, or sleep patterns.
This band also carries a 5 ATM water resistance rating.

A 190mAh battery is been placed in the band, where the company promises up to 16 days of battery life without the Always-on-Display mode.

It weighs just 27 grams and measures 48mm × 22.5mm × 10.99mm in dimension.
