OnePlus 8 Series Official Teaser Showcases Phones in Green Colour

OnePlus 8 series lineup is ready to launch in the next week. Before its official launch, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau has released one teaser image that shows the back of one of the upcoming phones that we are expecting to be OnePlus 8 Series. The teaser image also reveals a green color class back option that will be available for both OnePlus 8 or OnePlus 8 Pro. This is the first time that OnePlus is offering a green color variant option on their smartphone lineup. The company's last-generation smartphone OnePlus 7T is offering in Frosted Silver and Glacier Blue colors, whereas OnePlus 7T Pro comes only in Haze Blue color.

The teaser giving a sneak glimpse at the OnePlus 8 series has been posted by Pete Lau on Weibo. Which shows the back of the OnePlus 8-series smartphone along with a frosted glass finish in the sharply green color finish. Moreover, you can see OnePlus branding at the back of the phone.

While Lau didn't disclose whether the phone in the teaser is of OnePlus 8 or the OnePlus 8 Pro, we think that it might be the OnePlus 8. The design also looks similar to the previous OnePlus 8 leaks that we have got in recent months.

Earlier this week, Lau posted some of the photo samples from the OnePlus 8 Pro camera that highlighted its night mode and ultra-wide mode imaging features. Those photo samples were also been compared with another phone, although the handset has not revealed that they compared it with.

OnePlus also recently declared Warp Charge 30 Wireless as its exclusive wireless charging standard. We are expecting that it will support 30W wireless charging and is compatible with Qi and EPP standards. The Warp Charge 30 Wireless is expected to be the part of OnePlus 8 Pro, not the OnePlus 8.

On the pricing end, the OnePlus 8 Pro is rumored to offer a starting price between EUR 919 and EUR 929 (approx Rs. 76k to 77k) in Europe for the 8GB + 128GB storage option, while the OnePlus 8 would come at a starting price between EUR 719 and EUR 729 (approx Rs. 59,500 to 60,400) for the same 8GB + 128GB configuration.

OnePlus is hosting the launch of 8 series on April 14 where it is expected to unveil their new Bullets Wireless earphones alongside the new smartphones. Until the company is expected to release some more teasers to create some hype ahead of the official release.
