OnePlus 12 with 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging

The most awaited OnePlus 12 series smartphone has now been launched in India. After tons of leaks, the company has finally launched its first flagship phone, which carries Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. In its OnePlus 12 phone, the company has given all its flagship features that we have never seen in any phone at this price point.
As we have seen, any leaked photos of these phones in the past it replicated almost the same design and specs. The design has carried forward from the previous OnePlus 11 smartphone series, where a huge circular camera module is located at the back of the phone.
OnePlus 12, OnePlus 12R price in India, and variant options
The company has set the price of the OnePlus 12 in India at Rs. 64,999 for its base variant with 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage. A second variant option is priced at Rs. 69,999 for 16 GB+512 GB storage.
This OnePlus 12 is available in two colour options: Flowy Emerald and Silky Black. The company may launch more colour options in the upcoming months. Expected customers can buy it from January 30 on, starting the sale via the OnePlus official website, Amazon, and offline retail stores.
The company has set the pricing of OnePlus 12R at Rs. 39,999 for the base 8GB RAM +128GB storage option. Whereas for the 16 GB+256 GB option, the company has set the price at Rs. 45,999 in India. This phone is available in Cool Blue and Iron Gray colour options. This phone sale starts on February 6, via the OnePlus website, Amazon, and offline retail stores.
OnePlus 12 specifications and features
The most highlighted smartphone carries a dual SIM (Nano) and runs on Oxygen OS 14 skin on top, which is based on the latest Android 14 operating system. The new OnePlus 12 features a 6.82-inch quad-HD+ LTPO 4.0 AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate display. The display has a peak brightness of 4,500 nits with 1,440 x 3,168 pixels of resolution. The screen refresh rate can change between 1Hz and 120Hz for an excellent viewing experience, and it will also save your battery life. The display is also protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
The device has an IP65 rating for dust and splash resistance, which means you can carry this phone in the rain.
It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which we have never seen before, ensuring a smooth and lag-free performance. The display is also protected with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection.
It carries a triple rear camera setup with Hasselblad branding on it. The primary camera is of 50-megapixel sensor with a Sony LYT-808 sensor and an f/1.6 aperture, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 114-degree field-of-view (FOV), and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 3x optical zoom lens and an f/2.6 aperture. And for all your selfie needs, it features a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture, found in a hole-punch cutout on the display.
The connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC. It’s loaded with sensors like a gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, proximity sensor, and an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication.
The OnePlus 12 carries a massive 5,400mAh battery pack with 100W SuperVOOC charging technology, and the phone supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
OnePlus 12 carries a premium design that measures just 164.3 x 75.8 x 9.15 mm and weighs 220g.
OnePlus 12R specifications and features
Talking about the OnePlus 12R is very similar to the OnePlus 12 smartphone. This device also carries a dual SIM (Nano) device that runs on Oxygen OS 14, based on the latest Android 14 OS.
The OnePlus 12R features a slightly smaller 6.78-inch 1.5K LTPO 4.0 AMOLED display. It comes with the same refresh rate, display protection, and other specifications as its premium OnePlus 12. This phone is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, which we have seen in last year’s OnePlus 11.
OnePlus 12R also carries a triple rear camera module where a 50-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX890 sensor and an f/1.8 aperture, second, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera lens with a 112-degree field-of-view capability, and last, a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture. And for all your selfie and video conferencing, it features a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture lens.
Storage won’t be an issue with the OnePlus 12R, as it offers 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage or 256GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It also comes with the same connectivity options and sensors, except the Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.
It carries a smaller 5,000mAh battery pack with the same 100W SuperVOOC wired charging support. However, this device doesn't support wireless charging.
Whereas the OnePlus 12R measures just 163.3x75.3x8.8mm and weighs 207g only which is lighter than the OnePlus 12.
