Finally, OnePlus launched its first foldable phone OnePlus Open in India as well as in global markets. The phone comes in a book design that opens in a way like our textbook used to open. The company claims that its design is made for the durability of the product which also ensures the long durability. We have seen almost in all foldable smartphones that a line mark appears by the time users open. It is powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset which ensures high performance. This smartphone carries a dual display where one display is located inner and one display is placed on the outer side of the phone both screen comes with a 120Hz refresh rate.
OnePlus Open price in India and colour options
The company has set its pricing at Rs. 1,39,999 for OnePlus Open 16GB RAM + 512GB storage options. As of now OnePlus only introduces a single configuration, which is available in two colour options Emerald Dusk and Voyager Black. The expected customers can grab this exciting phone via the official OnePlus website, Amazon, and offline retail stores across the country. OnePlus has started its Pre-orders and is open for sale on October 27.

The OnePlus Open's first foldable phone is here with extraordinary features that make this phone a true game-changer. It features a 7.82-inch 2K Flexi-fluid LTPO 3.0 AMOLED display with a 2,268x2,440 pixels resolution. This foldable phone has a dynamic refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz with a 240Hz touch response rate that ensures every swipe and tap is lightning-fast. It hits a peak brightness of 2,800 nits, making your display visible even under the brightest sun.
But that's not all - when folded, you still get a secondary 6.31-inch 2K LTPO 3.0 Super Fluid AMOLED display which has a 10Hz and 120Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, the OnePlus Open carries Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, a beast of a processor accompanied by an Adreno 740 GPU. Paired with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM, this phone can handle multitasking like a pro.
It has a Hasselblad triple rear camera setup where the primary 48-megapixel camera, with its Sony LYT-T808 “Pixel Stacked” CMOS sensor, captures every detail. Zoom in the 64-megapixel secondary telephoto camera which offers 3x optical zoom and up to 120x digital zoom. And the last 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with Sony IMX581 sensor with EIS perfect for capturing a 114-degree field-of-view, and an f/2.2 aperture.
In connectivity terms, it includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and more. Plus, the USB Type-C port with USB 3.1 connectivity ensures fast data transfers and charging. A side-mounted fingerprint scanner and a face unlock feature.
OnePlus Open comes dual-cell 4,800mAh battery pack the phone also offers 67W SuperVOOC charging technology support.
In terms of size, it measures 153.4x143.15.9mm when unfolded and a sleek 153.4x73.3x11.7mm when folded. It weighs only 245g, making it surprisingly lightweight for a device packed with such a huge power.
