Oppo Reno 8 5G, Reno 8 Pro 5G with 960fps AI Slow-Motion

The Chinese smartphone company Oppo has launched its new Oppo Reno 8 5G and Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G in India. The company launched its previous Oppo Reno 7 5G, and Oppo Reno 7 Pro 5G in February this year. But suddenly the company has come up with an upgraded version of the Reno series smartphone.
In the beginning, the company launched this Reno series to target gamers but it changed its direction to a traditional photo expert phone. We have seen many leaks of this phone and some of them has made right. The design is more often similar to the recently launched OnePlus Nord series.
The company has given all the latest features in this smartphone that can capture a perfect portrait photo even at Night and the most exciting feature in this phone is 960fps AI Slow-Motion that can capture extra-ordinary slow-motion videos that you have never seen
Oppo Reno 8 5G, Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G price in India, variant options
The company has priced this newly launched Oppo Reno 8 at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB LPDDR4x RAM + 128GB UFS 3.1 storage variant option. Whereas Oppo Reno 8 Pro is available at Rs. 45,999 in India for the 12GB LPDDR5 RAM + 256GB UFS 3.1 storage variant option.
Oppo Reno 8 is available in two colour options Black and Gold. Whereas Reno 8 Pro is also available in two colour options Glazed Black and Glazed Green.
According to the company's official announcement both the phones will be available for sale from 19th July and 25th July. First, the sale will open for the Pro variant, and later the regular Reno 8 will be sold on 25th July 2022.

Like every phone that was launched in these years this phone Oppo Reno 8 Pro 5G also has a dual Nano-SIM slot. The phone runs the latest Android 12 with ColorOS 12.1 skin on top. The smartphone features a 6.7-inch full-HD+ AMOLED with a 120Hz refresh rate display. The display has 1,080x2,412 pixels of resolution with HDR10+ support, Netflix HD certification, SGS Low Motion Blur, SGS Low Blue Light, and Amazon HDR certification that will enhance your web series and movie experience. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, whereas taking about its performance it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8100-Max SoC chipset.
This Reno 8 Pro 5G carries a triple rear camera setup at the back, where the primary camera is of 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor with an f/1.8 lens, the second 8-megapixel camera sensor with an f/2.2lens, 112-degree field-of-view (Fov) ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera with f/2.4 lens. Oppo has given a MariSilicon X NPU with their camera that helps in improved camera performance in both day and low light situations. The comes with a 32-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.4 lens.
This latest Reno 8 series includes all the 2022 connectivity features like 5G connectivity, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.3, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Talking about the sensors which include an accelerometer, light, magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication that unlocks your device. It carries a massive 4,500mAh battery with 80W Super Flash Charge fast charging technology. The company has given a Streamlined Unibody Design that has 183 grams in weight and 161x74.2x7.34mm in dimensions.
Oppo Reno 8 5G specification and features
The sim slot and operating system are the same as the Reno 8 pro model. But it has a smaller 6.43-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate for gaming.
The display has 1,080x2,400 pixels of resolution with a 20:09 aspect ratio, where it has a peak brightness of 800 nits. These regular models are also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 1300 SoC chipset.
The Reno 8 carries the same camera specs with the module as the Reno 8 Pro model has for both front and back cameras. But the regular Reno 8 does not have a Sony IMX766 sensor in the primary camera and the rest is the same.
The all-new Oppo Reno 8 also has the same connectivity option and sensors as the pro model with the same 4,500mAh battery that offers support for 80W Super Flash Charge. This model is quite lightweight because it decreases the screen size, it just has a 179g weight and measures 160x73.4x7.67mm in dimensions.
