The popular Chinese brand in India Xiaomi has come with a new smart TV named Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K with a 55-inch QLED Ultra-HD display. At a price tag of Rs. 54,999. This is an Android smart TV with PatchWall which is a familiar word for Xiaomi TVs.
Xiaomi Mi QLED 4K TV is the first QLED TV in India by the Xiaomi brand, with a premium smart TV tag, that offers some trending features in this price range. This new TV has 3840x2160 pixels of resolution and is available only in a single size which is a 55-inch size option with Dolby Vision support.

Taking about the price of this new Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K in India. The company officials have revealed the price of this TV for India which is Rs. 54,999/- this Mi QLED TV 4K may be the most expensive 55-inch TV for India.
This smart TV is available only in a single 55-inch size option, yet, it may be possible that Xiaomi will come with some other options with some other names. This Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K is a direct competitor of the OnePlus and TCL in the QLED smart TVs, with a similar price of around Rs. 60,000/-.
At this price tag, Xiaomi is offering similar specifications and features at a similar or lower price as we compare the TVs of OnePlus TV Q1 and TCL 55C715.
This new Mi smart TV will go on sale in India from December 21, 2020, at noon IST, via Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home stores, and other retail stores such as Vijay Sales.
Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K specifications and features
Here are some new and trending features in this new Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K which, has a 55-inch Ultra-HD (3840x2160-pixel) QLED display, including the support of various HDR formats including HLG, HDR10, HDR10+, and also Dolby Vision. This smart TV runs on Android TV 10 and is among the first smart TV launch that runs on the latest version of Android TV. Still, this TV is not able to run the Google TV launcher as on the Chromecast with Google TV, rather than running the stock Android TV launcher.
When we came to the specifications of this new Mi QLED TV 4K from the paper or catalog we were impressed by this smart TV. This TV has a MediaTek MT9611 quad-core processor powering the TV with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage for various apps, app data, and 30W of sound output through a six-speaker setup system where four speakers are full-range drivers and two are tweeters. This TV has a Chromecast built-in and also a quick wake function which, was recently seen on the Mi TV 4A Horizon Edition.
There are three HDMI ports and two USB ports on the Xiaomi Mi QLED TV 4K. All three ports have HDMI 2.1. That can support a 60Hz refresh rate up to 4K resolution and a claimed input lag of 5ms. This will help gamers to get a good gaming experience. On the wireless options, this TV gets a Bluetooth 5 and HDMI eARC is also supported.
Compared to the other smart TVs from Xiaomi, this Mi QLED TV 4K also runs on the PatchWall launcher which, has the latest version of PatchWall 3.5. The remote is similar to other Mi TV models, with very few buttons on it, and has a hotkey for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, with access to Google Assistant for voice controls.
