A new smartwatch in the premium category is been launched by Google globally along with its most awaited Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro smartphone. Google Pixel Watch 2 is been launched in many colour options. This time the new Pixel Watch 2 gets many new features compared to the previous Pixel Watch.
The company has given a premium circular look which looks like a traditional watch but inside it gets all the smartwatch features.

The company provides this watch in three textures Polished Silver, Matte Black, and Champagne Gold Aluminium cases with a wide range of strap colour options. The Google Pixel Watch 2 is priced at Rs. 39,900 in India for the LTE variant options.
The expected customer can buy this watch via Flipkart starting on October 13.

The company is providing some special offers if you buying a Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro then you just have to pay Rs. 19,999 Pixel for Watch 2.

Google Pixel Watch 2 specifications and features

First things first, let's talk about the most exciting feature the display it gets a 3D curved always-on display with a pixel density of 320ppi and a peak brightness of 1000 nits. The display is also protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The company claims this watch has a 5 ATM water and dust resistance rating.

It runs on the latest Wear OS 4.0 which is Google's own watch operating system.

The Pixel Watch 2 is powered by a Qualcomm 5100 SoC chipset, paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of in-built storage.

In terms of connectivity, this smartwatch gets Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, and NFC.

The Pixel Watch 2 is equipped with a compass, altimeter, 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, barometer, and magnetometer. It also supports an oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor, ECG monitor, multi-path optical heart rate sensor, an electrical sensor to measure skin conductance (cEDA), and even a skin temperature sensor.

It features over 40 sports modes for Fitness freaks. It has everything that analyses data on your health and physical activity, including a daily routine, sleeping time, and active zone minutes chart, and even creates a detailed sleep profile. It will terminate your fitness coach for it's duty.

Google has placed a 306mAh battery that calms to provide up to 24 hours of battery backup with the always-on display.

The company is claiming the watch can be 100 percent recycled which is environmentally friendly.
