Google Pixel Watch 3 will have a larger 45mm screen size with a 41mm diameter dial variant

The biggest search engine company Google is all set to launch its all-new smartwatch named Pixel Watch 3. Unlike its predecessors, the Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2, which came in a 41mm diameter dial watch, the Pixel Watch 3 is going to carry a larger 45mm dial size variant with a smaller dial size variant.

Google Pixel Watch 3 is finally going to offer a larger dial size variant declared by 9to5Google. The upcoming variant will be 45mm in size, making for a much larger watch display that we have never seen in previous pixel smartwatches. While both models will carry similar features, the larger-sized watch model may pack a bigger battery.

Pixel Watch users often express the desire for a larger screen size model, since the current 41mm variant is considered too small for some wrists. In contrast, Google's competitors, Apple and Samsung, already offer their smartwatches in multiple screen dial size options. For example, the Apple Watch Series 9 is available in both 41mm and 45mm sizes, whereas the Galaxy Watch 6 can be purchased in 40mm and 44mm versions.

According to a recent report by 9To5Google, Google is working on the Google Pixel Buds Pro earphones, named Pixel Buds Pro 2. The original Pixel Buds Pro was launched in India in 2022, and the successor is still in development with no official name or launch date announced yet by the company officials.

Unfortunately, no additional details are available at the moment regarding the upcoming Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2. However, a patent filed in November last year by Google hinted that the new Pixel Watch could feature a buttonless design with gesture-detecting sensors.

The Pixel Watch 2 was released in India in October 2023, and it is powered by a Qualcomm 5100 SoC. The watch boasts a 3D curved always-on display, 2GB of RAM, and 32GB of built-in storage. It runs on the Wear OS 4.0 operating system.
