OnePlus Band features a 1.1-inch AMOLED display and 13 exercise modes

The popular Chinese brand OnePlus now launched a new smart band OnePlus in India. This is the new fitness band designed by OnePlus to beat Xiaomi's Mi Smart Band 5 in the Indian market and with almost similar specifications and features. The OnePlus Band features an AMOLED display that supports touch inputs. It also features blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) and a heart rate monitoring system. For fitness and health-conscious, this OnePlus Band works with a new OnePlus Health app that enables users to track all their daily activities, heart rate, and sleep data. The band also adds 13 other exercise modes.

OnePlus Band price in India and variant options

This all-new OnePlus Band is priced in India at Rs. 1,649. This fitness band comes in a single Black colour option variant and you can buy this band via a OnePlus.in, Amazon, OnePlus Store app, Flipkart, OnePlus exclusive offline stores, and other partner outlets from 13th January 2021. This band will be available for Red Cable Club members one day before, at 9 am on 12th January 2021. The company OnePlus will sell the different colour wrist straps in Navy and Tangerine Gray colours in Rs. 399/- only.

OnePlus Band specifications and features

This all-new OnePlus Band features a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with 126x294 pixels resolution. In terms of sensors, it includes a three-axis accelerometer, a blood oxygen sensor, a gyroscope, and an optical heart-rate sensor. The company has also preloaded 13 exercise modes like Indoor Run, Outdoor Run, Fat Burn Run, Outdoor Walk, Indoor Cycling, Outdoor Cycling, Elliptical Trainer, Rowing Machine, Cricket, Badminton, Pool Swimming, Yoga, and Free Training.

To track all the activities in the water or in the rainy season this OnePlus Band comes with IP68 certification up to a 5ATM water-resistant rating. This band is also designed to protect from dust to some extent.

A new feature in the OnePlus Band is that it can help you to analyze your sleep patterns or time with built-in sensors. It also tracks sleep tracking with continuous SpO2 monitoring to provide a complete view of your health by the OnePlus Health app. Although, this band doesn't come with any healthcare certifications like the Apple watch.

Taking about the design, this OnePlus Band comes with a detachable tracker that can be attached to other wrist straps. Users can also apply their favorite watch faces directly from the OnePlus Health app.
OnePlus Band is only compatible with devices that run on Android 6.0 or above. The company OnePlus is also bringing support for iPhone users along with a similar OnePlus Health app on iOS in the future. The company also claims that this band gives the “best experience” with OnePlus phones including the Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity option.

This band can also show your real-time message notifications, incoming call alerts, music playback controls, call rejection and a remote camera shutter button. With the Zen Mode synchronization especially when you connected your OnePlus phone with the band.
The OnePlus Band carries a 100mAh battery that is able to deliver 14 days of usage on a single charge. It carries a wired charging dongle inside the box. Moreover, this band measures 40.4x17.6x11.95mm and weighs 22.6 grams including the strap of the band.
