AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition 4K Ultra-HD TV with a Dolby Vision format

The e-commerce website Amazon India has launched an Ultra-HD TV in India "AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition 4K Ultra-HD." It's the first tv that has launched only for Indian markets this time under the Amazon Basics product lineup. These smart TVs are priced starts from Rs. 29,999/-. These televisions come in only two size variants of 50 and 55 inches respectively. The AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition televisions have a 4K HDR LED display, including the support of Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos formats for both HDR and audio. This tv model has direct competition 4K smart TV segment, with brands like Xiaomi, TCL, Hisense, Vu, and OnePlus.
Both the Fire TV Editions are now available on the Amazon India website, with two-days of shipping available for Mumbai at this time and maybe more available in some other metro cities.
AmazonBasics Fire TV Edition Ultra-HD LED TV Specifications
Both the television models are available in 50 inches (AB50U20PS) and 55 inches (AB55U20PS). With Ultra-HD (3840x2160-pixel) LED Display, with HDR including Dolby Vision format. There is also a Dolby Atmos support, with a 20W speaker output.
These televisions are powered by a quad-core Amlogic processor, with three HDMI ports and two USB ports. The display 60Hz refresh rate capability and a viewing angle of 178-degrees.
As expected, the AmazonBasics televisions are runs on Amazon's Fire TV OS. This is the same operating system that we have seen on the Fire TV Stick streaming devices. which makes normal tv to smart tv with the HDMI port. And on some other brands like Onida and Akai.
This Fire TV OS is the best operating system to experience Amazon Prime Video, other services such as YouTube, Netflix, and Hotstar available easily on the screen on this platform. You can also use Amazon's voice assistant Alexa, from which you can ask to play movies, music, or TV shows, as well as explore information or control other compatible IoT devices in the home to make your home a smart home.
Amazon is entering into the TV segment market in India, with a competitive price tag and well-specified that can make trouble for many tv brands in India. These AmazonBasics TVs' price is lower than the other 4K TVs in the entry-level 4K market comparing to such as Xiaomi and Vu. And these TVs are also offering Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos features.
Other televisions run on Android TV, but the AmazonBasics televisions run on the Fire TV OS. As mentioned by the company, this is the same OS that they use in the Fire TV Stick and it has the same experience that we have with the Amazon FireTV Stick 4K with including Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos support.
