The most popular game PUBG Mobile is coming with a new update of PUBG Mobile 1.0 which, brings a “new era” to this game with the Erangel 2.0 map on September 8, the developers announced this interesting news on Monday, August 24th, 2020, through a press statement. The 1.0 update brings some new enhancements and changes also including the latest tech, new UX, new gameplay features, and much more. With this new update of PUBG Mobile also announced that PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC) esports event which has a prize of $2 million (roughly Rs. 14.82 crores) that will start in November end.
The developers said that this new PUBG Mobile 1.0 new update will be completely fixed up to offer "the most authentic and immersive experience on mobile phones" with this 1.0 update. It brings changes to the characters, settings of both in-game and lobby design, and gunfights. The team has worked on particles, air blasts, smoke muzzle flashes, and scope interaction to give it a more realistic feel in this update. Actions such as gliding, throwing, and sprinting have also been optimized in this new update.
Additionally, the models and texture quality and lighting systems have also improved to add more reality to the sky, water, and plants. The UI for new PUBG Mobile 1.0 has been changed to make it easy on the eyes, the developers point out this especially. This will be going to improve motions, visuals, and the quality of sound effects like footsteps, etc. A multi-screen switching mode option will be added as well in this update. It is exclusive to PUBG Mobile. In-Games community and purchases have separated now into three terms for easy navigation.
While there was no mention of Erangel 2.0 or a renewed Erangel, the team didn't declare that, I think they are looking for a surprise for the gamers across the globe.

The new 1.0 update is reported to enhance the gameplay experience on mid-range smartphones and low-end hardware phones with up to 30 percent of improvement in FPS, and up to 76 percent decline in lag. The new technologies have allowed the installation pack to deliver better quality in the same file size.
The PMGC Season Zero tournament has also been announced in the press release that it will be organized in late November.
