PUBG Mobile And PUBG Mobile Lite Banned in India with other 118 Apps

PUBG is the most trending and the most played game in India. This game is famous around the globe but in India, as we have more youth that covers our population, that is why people were so much into this particulate game. This game was in controversy for many days whether there Government of India will ban this game in India or not. Many people and media houses claimed that the decision was taken that the game is going to get banned in India just like TikTok and the other Chines Apps were banned. Still, some media houses and sources were confused about this decision.

But, on the 2nd of September, 2020 the Government of India has finally declared that the most famous and the most played game PUBG to be banned. And this action has been taken already. Not only this game but this time the government has banned more than 118 Apps from India and because of which the youth of the nation is shocked and sad now as this had become more of a business as well for some people.

PUBG has already made some changes a few weeks ago regarding the safety and security of the user’s data and they have clarified that the personal data of the Indian players will not be disclosed outside the country. In addition to that, they all have banned some users as they were using cheating on the game and some other accounts that they thought were creating problems. But, still, all these guidelines and the updates couldn’t help in changing the decision of the Indian government and they have banned this addictive game on 2nd September 2020. According to the Government of India, PUBG was prejudicial to the sovereignty and integrity of India.

PUBG mobile is in the world’s top 5 smartphone games. This game has over 734 million downloads ad when we talk about India; we have approx. 50 million active PUBG players. Daily, there are 13 million users.

After the ban, the internet is flooded with the news and reaction of the players. Now people are searching for a replacement for this game but most importantly people are shocked.

In these banned apps, there are a lot of other apps that people were normally using. Even this has games like Ludo, Bike race, and other beauty Selfie related apps. And this time the dating app Tantan is also banned, and with that, there are more online chatting and video calling apps that are banned. It has been stated that these apps were a risk for the safety and the security of our nation, and to make sure that no data could be used illegally, the government has taken this strict step.

Not to forget that more apps are banned on the 2nd of September 2020. The Indian Government has banned a total of 118 apps in India. According to the notice updated by the IT ministry, here are a total of 118 newly banned list of apps;
